Why it is important to have smoke alarms installed?

There is no disputing that smoke alarms save lives. A smoke alarm is a very small but important safety feature for your home. They not only save lives, but they can also save your assets from being destroyed by fire. A smoke alarm works by detecting smoke from a fire a lot sooner than a person could, particularly if you are asleep in your home.
